Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. She is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she enjoys dumb action movies. After earning some recognition through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. The channel was online from 2009 until the year 2015 at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
