Abbie Cornwallish, an Australian actress born in August 1982, is a star in a number of film role. Cornish was best-known for her performances in films like Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). For the latter Cornish received her first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. The actress was invited to guest star on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and then followed that up with small roles in Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin continued to nab mostly TV guest roles in the years following until she was able to get her debut break in 2013 by landing an appearance on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, was featured in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie prior to the show's finale. was cancelled on June 15th, 2015. In the identical year Gilpin made an appearance in the thriller-mystery True Story (2015).
