Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. Aspen went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to take down McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina, and ground-and - pounded her for the TKO victory in the second round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd won the fight in round one and received the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
